Public records are comprised of information on government registries comprised of sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, associations and non-profit organizations. Below are different type of reports and documents you can order:
Business Profile Report
A business name or corporation profile report displays current information on the public record for the subject business, corporation or other entity. Depending on the jurisdiction, different information is available including: the business name, registration date, business address, business activity, registrant name and address and/or active directors and officers. Some historical information such as amalgamating corporations, where the subject corporation is an amalgamation, and name history are included in the report.
Certificate of Good Standing
The Certificate of Good Standing (also called Certificate of Compliance; Attestation and Certificate of Existence) provides the current status of the corporation (active, dissolved or in default).
The above documents certify that, on the date of the request, a particular corporation:
- Is currently existing;
- Is up to date with its required annual returns, and
- Is up to date with all required fees.
